Thank you for showing an interest in this years Bridgend County Show. 

 

Last year the show proved to be very successful although the Friday proved to be less busy than we expected. We feel this was due to a lack of support from several organizations who promised more than they delivered. This year we aim to ensure a full programme of events will take place on all days of the show.

 

The 2011 show will we hope take place in similar sunny conditions and we hope you can take the time to join us. The show will be held over three days although stand prices will remain the same as previous years. We will also be changing the show layout to bring everything back together on the main show field.

 

Once again all the fast food, Ice Cream and Bars will be taken car of by one     contractor. This contract has been awarded to Mr. Andrew Brogan of National Event Caterers, all enquiries with regards tender concessions should be forwarded to him.

 

In order to continue the steady growth that has been achieved over the last five to six years, the main ring will once again provide a wide range of  feature acts to  attract the audience and keep them entertained.

 

Advertising will take place both locally and nationally with posters and leaflets being sent to every Tourist Information Centre in the U K and adverts placed in many local and national newspapers plus local radio.

 

A plan of the trade stand layout is enclosed together with all the rules and regulations that you must adhere to. The booking form enclosed should be completed and returned with the required payment as soon as  possible. Should you require a particular site then early booking is recommended.

All trade stands must carry their own public liability insurance for £2,000,000.

All fairground style rides must be members of the showman's guild and all rides must carry a current safety certificate and public liability insurance for £2,000,000.
